The ERNEST THOMPSON SETON AWARD recognizes outstanding, creative contributions to the council. It should be reserved for four or more years of service so outstanding it is recognized throughout the council; often it is the second or third recognition for a dedicated, long-term administrative volunteer. It is named in honor of one of Camp Fire’s founders and the designer of the first symbols used in Camp Fire.
